Hello!
This week we had a big Zone Conference with three Zones combined
and Elder Carlson of the 70 came to talk to us! The start of the week we
prepared for this conference. Each missionary had to prepare a five minute talk
on Consecration to possible give it at the conference. The conference was
really amazing and always exactly what you need as a missionary and as a child
of God. We got amazing instruction on how we can better teach, but not only
teach, but listen. We had three zones there and yet I barely knew any of the
missionaries in the past two transfers we have received 60 missionaries and it
is amazing to see how strong this new generation of missionaries are. They bore
there testimonies and with only be out in the mission field for one week they
had no cares of themselves, but of the people they had been teaching for a
couple days.
Later that night Elder Carlson of the 70 put on a little
conference for all of the investigators and less active members of the church.
We got to go with two of our investigators whose son just got baptized two
months ago in the church. Their son got asked to bare his testimony at the
conference. It was a really neat experience to be there with his parents as he
bore testimony that he knows this church is true at that it changed his
life!
We had lots of people come to church again! An investigator that
we have been teaching from Chili came to church this past Sunday and really
loved it! You just can't explain the joy from church like you can by showing
them the joy when they come!
